Advised Refineria de Cartagena on conflict resolution issues, including: Claim covered by three Colombian insurance companies and reinsured by Munich Re (as principal) and other British reinsurance companies (Lloyds et al) involving the flooding of an area part of the expansion project of the Refinery. The issue was settled during the arbitration proceedings. Advised on the pre-litigation strategy for the set-up and commissioning contract of the Refinery after CBandI was removed from the project.
