Bogotá D.C., August 2022 – Once again Gómez-Pinzón has been recognized by the international ranking Chambers & Partners as one of the leading firms in the colombian legal market, emphasize 22 of its lawyers and 14 law practices.
The law firm, with 30 years of experience in the colombian market, is mentioned in this Latin American ranking, due to the relevance of deals and consultancies in which the company participated between 2021 and 2022, added to the trust of their clients, who are the ones who give their feedback to be part of this publication.

Among the deals that allowed the firm to keep its position as a reference in the legal market are the first hostile takeover bids in the colombian stock market, in which the Gilinski Family and its partners obtained stakes of more than 30% in the Nutresa and Sura business groups. Gómez-Pinzón also counseled the airline Avianca in their exit process from Chapter 11 and reorganization plan, this deal was listed as Deal of the year 2022 by Latin Lawyer.
The law firm, in turn, has also been recognized for advising Grupo Ashmore in the sale of its stake in the Santa Marta Paraguachón Concession, which involved the sale of 100% of the shares to the investment management firm BlackRock. Gómez-Pinzón also participated in the largest private investment of open access in digital infrastructure in the country, with the sale of Colombia Telecomunicaciones’ fiber optic assets to Onnet Fibra Colombiana S.A.S., a subsidiary of KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts).
