Bogotá, December 03, 2020 – Chambers & Partners granted Gómez-Pinzón Abogados the Outstanding Firm for Diversity & Inclusion – Latin America recognition. The award was announced during the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Latin America Awards 2020 ceremony today.
This award is a recognition of the commitment that GP has with the promotion of diversity and inclusion with the staff, as well as with its clients, allies, and general audiences, a commitment that reflects our core values and shapes our organizational culture.
Chambers highlighted the work of the Committee from Gómez-Pinzón, which for more than five years has verified, supported, proposed, and bolstered concrete initiatives that promote awareness and changes regarding the needs in diversity and inclusion from the legal sector. This includes the announcement in June 2020 of new task forces from the Committee that focus on gender equity, LGBTIQ+, racial and ethnic diversity, people with disabilities, and social mobility matters, among others.
