Andrea is a lawyer and a specialist in Commercial Law, with more than 28 years of professional experience. She has focused on healthcare and healthcare regulatory matters, as well as intellectual property. As a member of the Intellectual Property and Competition Practices areas, in the regulatory field, she mainly provides counseling services to local and foreign companies in Life Sciences and their relevant legislation, especially pertaining to the pharmaceutical sector, cannabis industry, medical devices, cosmetics and personal care, biomedical devices and equipment, among others. Andrea also coordinates the relationship with clients and the management of Health Registration, Health Notices and Health Permit procedures and approvals before the competent Health Authorities both in Colombia and abroad – the latter through the correspondents – and supports all merger and acquisition transactions in her area of expertise.
