Daniel is an attorney with over 22 years of professional experience and he is part of Gómez-Pinzón since 2005. His previous professional experience includes working at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) in Washington DC.
He focuses his practice on advising Colombian companies or local, international, and multilateral financial institutions on financing processes and debt and equity issuance transactions in national and international securities markets and in the structuring of private equity and private debt funds and other investment vehicles. Daniel also works permanently giving advice in banking and capital markets regulatory matters.
In addition, he leads the entrepreneurship practice group whereby the firm serves entrepreneurs in the different fields of law. His extensive experience in these areas has positioned Daniel as a benchmark in the fintech market as he has been invited to participate as a mentor in programs launched by well-known organizations, including Endeavor and Colcapital.
Daniel has been a guest professor of the Master’s Degree in Finance at Universidad ICESI in Cali where he teaches the Business Finance course.
