Patricia has more than 30 years of professional experience and leads the Energy & Natural Resources Group. She has extensive experience counseling companies in the energy and mining sectors, as well as other sectors, including services and infrastructure. She provided legal and regulatory advice to the potential investors in the country’s electricity sector’s main privatizations, as well as regarding their financing. She is currently a consultant to major companies in the electricity and mining sectors. Likewise, she participated in the structuring of the first regasification terminal in the country as adviser to the group of thermal generators of the Atlantic coast. As for the mining industry, Patricia has counseled important multinational companies on mining titles in Colombia from the corporate, regulatory and mergers and acquisitions perspectives. Patricia has broad experience advising clients in the structuring of their businesses and in mergers and acquisitions. She also has considerable knowledge in corporate and contractual matters, which allows her to give comprehensive advice to clients and companies’ boards of directors. She is the author of publications on electrical regulations and mining and corporate legislation.
