Ricardo has over 25 years of professional experience. He is a Partner at Gómez-Pinzón, Director of the Banking, Finance & Capital Markets practice and member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. Throughout his career, Ricardo’s legal practice has concentrated on providing permanent advice to international banks, either present or with cross-border interests in Colombia, in particular concerning financings, capital markets, derivatives and treasury transactions, and banking and securities regulation. Ricardo serves as legal advisor to several infrastructure projects, especially in those relating to roads and transportation as well as others relating to energy. In addition, he has advised the government, private contractors and lenders in the structuring of infrastructure projects. He has been leading counsel in several project finance transactions, which gives him a well-rounded view for these types of advisories.
