The Colombian ICT Ministry published a few moments ago the first draft resolution with the requirements, conditions and procedure to participate in the objective selection process through the auction mechanism, to grant permits for the use of the radio spectrum at national level, in the 700 MHz, 1900 MHz, extended AWS, 2500 MHz and 3500 MHz bands.
According to the draft resolution, the available spectrum to be auctioned would be as follows:

In general terms, the draft resolution provides the rules of participation, but still omits certain aspects that will be developed later, such as the spectrum reserve values for the auction, the economic fees, the conditions of the guarantees that would apply, and the specific obligations of the assignees of permits, among other aspects.
According to the published schedule, interested parties must submit their comments in this first round no later than August 15, 2023. Among other key dates, the request for participation should be submitted no later than November 2, 2023, and the auction will take place on December 20, 2023.
