Gómez Pinzón, as Colombian legal counsel, and Paul Hastings, as US legal counsel, advised EnfraGen, LLC, a developer, owner, and operator of grid stability and value-added renewable power and assets in Latin America, jointly owned by Glenfarne Group and Partners Group, in the purchase through its subsidiary EnfraGen Energía Sur S.A.U., of 100% of the shares of Termovalle S.A.S. E.S.P., the largest natural gas-fired plant in Colombia, provider of essential capacity and energy to the Colombian electrical system.
With an installed capacity of 241 MW, this new acquisition increased EnfraGen’s portfolio of operating and in-construction power assets to approximately 1.7 GW.
