Gómez-Pinzón advised IFC and FDN, as investors of green bonds issued by Empresa de Energía del Pacífico S.A. E.S.P. (EPSA) under two issuance programs in the Colombian ‘Secondary Market’, addressed exclusively to institutional investors. IFC and FDN acquired the green bonds in equal parts (equivalent to COP $210 million each, for a total of COP $420 million). The proceeds from the bonds would go towards the construction of one or more solar power plants with a combined installed capacity of up to 200 MWp.
