Legal counsel to Banca de Inversión Bancolombia S.A. Corporación Financiera and Empresa del Tercer Milenio – Transmilenio S.A., for the securitization of cash flows committed by the Republic of Colombia under future budget payments (Vigencias Futuras). Said vigencias futuras were committed by the Republic of Colombia to cofinance the construction, maintenance, and operation of public infrastructure to be used in Bogotá for rapid bus transport systems (troncales alimentadores Avenida Ciudad de Cali and Avenida).


This first tranche of bonds through the Colombian Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Valores de Colombia) was launched for an amount of over COP $700 Billion . The authorized amount of the offering is COP $ $2.900 Billion to be placed in a four-year period (largest amount ever approved for a bond offering in the Colombian stock market).
