At the end of August 2019, Bancóldex and Ruta N they launched a credit quota of COP $ 6 billion which can be accessed by natural or legal persons that carry out creative and cultural activities through micro, small and medium-sized companies that have a minimum six months of incorporation and that are domiciled in the Department of Antioquia.

To apply for the loan, the interested companies must submit the beneficiary project to the approval of the Technical Committee of Ruta N. Once they receive said approval, the loan application must be presented to the financial intermediaries that have the credit quota. mentioned, for which each company is advised by Ruta N to choose the financial intermediary.

Destination of resources:

  • Working capital :
    • Raw materials, supplies, inventories and the like.
  • Modernization :
    • Purchase or lease of real estate, machinery or equipment related to economic activity.
    • Adaptations or improvements to the facilities
    • Quality certifications, licenses, patents, health records, among others.
  • Growth and expansion actions:
    • Purchase or contracting of specific activities for growth
    • Participation in international markets, tours and festivals.

Conditions:

  • Each company will be entitled to a loan of up to COP 750 million.
  • Space is available until resources are exhausted.
  • The term may be a maximum of 3 years.
  • The interest rate may be freely negotiable between the entrepreneur and the financial intermediary.

Like this proposal, the municipality of Medellín has been promoting initiatives aimed at creative and cultural economies, such as “ El Pauer ”, a platform launched by Comfama and Ruta N aimed at creative and cultural ventures in Antioquia, showing the main events, initiatives and stories related to the orange economy. The Orange Economy Summit is also highlighted held last September , which was organized by the National Government, the Mayor’s Office of Medellín and the ALF ( Advanced Leadership Foundation ).

Taking into account that legal advice has become an obstacle for entrepreneurs, Impacta aims to provide legal advice by offering discounts according to the characteristics of each venture. For this, entrepreneurs must be in their final stage or they must have completed a recognized acceleration program; they must have been recipients of capital or participated in an investment round; and they must have annual revenues equal to or greater than COP $ 120 million and less than COP $ 2 billion. In this way, entrepreneurs have the possibility of accessing legal advice on unknown topics such as hiring, taxation, among others.
