Acquisition of Intecplast and Pieriplast by Acon Investment

Gómez-Pinzón acted as legal advisor of Acon Investments LLC and a few of its subsidiaries in the acquisition of one hundred percent (100%) of the common stock of both: (i) Intecplast S.A.S., one of the leading Colombian rigid plastic packaging manufacturers, and (ii) Pieriplast SAC, a leading Peruvian supplier of high quality packaging solutions for the sale of cosmetics. The closing of the acquisition of Intecplast took place on May 11th, 2015 and the closing of the acquisition of Pieriplast took place on June 3th, 2015. Also, the well-known Peruvian Law Firm Miranda Amado Abogados served as Peruvian legal advisor of Acon in the acquisition of Pieriplast.

Purchase of a majority shareholding of Aseo Urbano by Acon Investment

Stock purchase agreement among Acon, Urbaser S.A and Raygar International, by which Acon acquired 81.5% of Aseo Urbano S.A., E.S.P.’s stock, company member of Grupo Sala, a corporate group which renders public utilities services (waste collection, hazardous waste management, landfill management, aqueduct, sewerage, etc.) with operations in the main Colombian cities such as Bogotá, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Cúcuta, Manizales, Cali and Pasto.
