Gómez-Pinzón Abogados served as special counsel in Colombia for TermoCandelaria Power Ltd. (TPL), as issuer, and for its Colombian subsidiaries Termobarranquilla S.A. E.S.P. and Termocandelaria S.C.A. E.S.P., as guarantors, in the offering of notes for 7.875% of TermoCandelaria Power Ltd. maturing in 2029 for an aggregate principal amount of USD $410 million. Subsequently, Gómez-Pinzón Abogados advised TPL in the reopening of these notes issued for USD $186 million. The aggregate principal amount of the notes at a rate of 7.875% maturing in 2029 will be USD $596 million. Additionally, the firm advised TPL in securing a USD $80 million bridge loan to increase its installed capacity.
