The health Authority INVIMA will temporarily allow the import of vital pharmaceutical products not available such us antibacterial gel whose composition is greater than 60% alcohol and topical disinfectant solution whose composition is greater than 70% alcohol, without need for sanitary registration, from the publication of the Act 01 of March 19, 2020 of Special Branch Drug Review Commission, with the purpose of increasing supply of this kind of products until the supply is normalized.
The requirements to import and marketing of vital pharmaceutical products not available are:
- Copy of the deposit slip
- Import express request
- Free sale certificate or certified to the requirements set by the World Health Organization (WHO) for goods in international trade and legalized by apostille or consularized
- IUM number and / or application number
- Certificate of existence and legal representation of the applicant
- Analysis certificate
- Justification of the amount requested
