Through Resolution No. 2020031748418 of March 6,2020, the Local Tax Authority of Medellín modified the Tax Deadlines for 2020 in the following terms:
- The deadlines to file the Industry and Commerce Tax for 2019 expires between May 15 and 29, 2020 attending the last digit of the Tax Identification Number (NIT).
- Mainly, the Annual Tax return of the Industry and Commerce Tax should be virtual. Subsidiary, for these purposes the Administration will enable, among others, The Chamber of Commerce of Medellín, Casa de Gobierno de Santa Elena, Casa de Gobierno de San Cristóbal, Casa de Gobierno AltaVista.
- The deadlines to file the Industry and Commerce Withholding Tax (bimonthly) for the Fiscal Year 2020, are the following in accordance with the las two digits of the tax ID:
- Bimester 1 (January to February 2020): between March 24-30, 2020.
- Bimester 2(March to April 2020): between May 11 and 14, 2020.
- Bimester 3 (May to June 2020): between July 13 to 17, 2020.
- Bimester 4 (July to August 2020): between September 14 and 18.
- Bimester 5 (September to October 2020): between November 17 to 23, 2020.
- Bimester 6 (November to December 2020): until January 25,2021.
- The deadlines to file the Industry and Commerce Self-withholding Tax (bimonthly) for the Fiscal Year 2020, are the following in accordance with the las two digits of the tax ID:
- Bimester 1 (January to February 2020): between March 24-30, 2020.
- Bimester 2 (March to April 2020): between May 11 -15, 2020.
- Bimester 3 (May to June 2020): between July 13 -17,2020.
- Bimester 4 (July to August 2020): between September 14-18, 2020.
- Bimester 5 (September to October 2020): between November 17-23, 2020.
- Bimester 6 (November to December 2020): until December 22,2020.
- The Public Lighting Tax of the taxable year 2019 will be determine by an annual charge which must be paid until May 28, 2020.
- The taxpayers who are not subscribers of the public energy, must file and pay the semi-annual.
- Semester I: until June 16, 2020.
- Semester II: until December 18, 2020.
